Owner Comments:
A wonderful example of the type. This coin displays lovely rainbow peripheries that encompass faultless fields of swirling luster. The calf's body (a notorious trouble spot on this issue) and the fleur-de-lis are well detailed. The reverse is blast white and ultra ultra clean. The obverse is spectacular looking with a combination of circular rim edge and white lustrous toning, additionally some nice colors are seen on head of John Pell holding the calf. Very clean and high end. CAC certified.
Provenance: to the Troy Wiseman Collection.
