Owner Comments:
The 1988 Kennedy Half Dollar saw production return to the normal pattern. Coins were struck for circulation at the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, albeit in small numbers. The proof version of the coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint for inclusion within the annual proof set.
The highest graded circulation strikes are just a few pieces that have been graded MS68 by the major grading services PCGS and NGC. The population of highest graded proof coins is more abundant with more than 200 examples graded PCGS PR70DCAM or NGC PF 70 Ultra Cameo.
