Based upon eye appeal, this is one of the finer York's. In terms of technical merit, the piece is also outstanding, and the design elements are struck with razor-sharp precision on both sides. The real story is the toning, which occurs as vivid rainbow iridescence near the periphery, and more subtle but beautiful variations of rose, sky-blue, and champagne-gray over the fields and centers.
