NGC Pop is 23/13 as of 7/12/06. This is a nice example of an early '70's proof coin. The typical signs of this series are present in that the coin does have a couple of carbon spots and some early signs of toning/hazing. Overall the coin is very lustrous and exhibits great mirrors. The frost is present on the devices but is a bit weak. The rims are full and without signs of bag marks or wear. Some of the high spots on Lincoln's head do show traces of wear but are not distracting. There are a couple of gouges on the reverse of the coin, one under the "M" in AMERICA and one above the "C" in CENT that are both visible to the naked eye. Otherwise the surfaces are clean and shiny. Nice coin!
