This coin is richly toned on both sides with gun-metal blue on bronze. Collectors eagerly saved bank rolls from circulation and amazing lusterous gems for this last year buffalo are very afforable. Only Denver mint examples are known to exist. Apparently many San Francisco Mint dies were rerouted to Denver and repunched as evidenced by the abundant mintovermarks that started a variety collecting boom.
