A great looking modern coin in a solid grade. I think Kentucky got a pretty solid looking design for their quarter but I don't really understand why they went with horse at an old country home.

For anyone wondering what's going on with the top of the reverse, this is one of those unfortunate situations where a prior owner was not kind or gentle with this slab and the damage is severe enough that you just can't get a good picture of the coin without the slab damage being apparent. You can also see this slab damage in several places on the picture of the Obverse. A younger version of me accepted this where, these days, I probably would have sent it back or demanded a partial refund for the coin - probably sent it back in this case because reholdering this would cost as much or more than the coin is worth.
