1926 50C Sesquicentennial MS65 NGC. Golden-tan, lemon, and pink-rose shades endow this shimmering and nearly unabraded Gem. The cheek of Washington retains the surface of the planchet prior to the strike, as always for this conditionally scarce type. Calvin Coolidge is noteworthy as the only President to appear on U.S. coinage during his term of office, the counterpart to Lincoln's depiction on Civil War Federal currency.(Registry values: N2998)
