Owner Comments:
With the rising cost of Silver, in 1965 the composition of the Dime was changed to a cheaper Copper/Clad mix. The design of the Roosevelt Dime however would remain unchanged for the remainder of the Century. My example here is a coin minted at West Point and the first Dime with a W mint mark to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Roosevelt design. The W coin was recognized as #21 in the 1st edition of 100 Greatest Modern Coins.
