Comments: This is a fine early example from the Washington Quarter series. It's starting to adopt a golden tone with hints of green in the middle of the fields on both sides. However, the toning pattern isn't the most appealing, slightly impacting the coin's eye appeal. The strike is strong, with minimal weak details and no visible bag marks or defects to the naked eye, meriting the plus rating. While it's still relatively easy to find in higher grades (with an estimated 12,000 surviving in MS 65 or better), this coin is a commendable specimen from the 1930s.
