The 2017 Enhanced Uncirculated Kennedy's were struck with a special finish to honor the 225th anniversary of the United States Mint. An Enhanced Uncirculated Finish has both a laser frosted area and an unpolished field to allow the coin to display a special luster. This is not seen on regular issued Mint State or Proof coins.
