It is a well struck and attractive coin. The circulation mintage was over 1,3 Million coins. However, it is estimated that only about 5% survived the melting pot. Population 1 of 1645 with 1512 graded higher by PCGS as of 1/2007. NGC population 1 of 851 with 883 graded higher as of 2/2007.
The coin ccquired on 1/10/2007.
I need only one more coin to finish my Carson City Morgan Dollar set. Unfortunately it is 1879 CC. The search is on for the reasonably priced GSA example of this date.
