Ex. Saddle Ridge Hoard. CAC Approved. There were a total of 5 1868-S double eagles in the hoard. This AU58+ was the finest and highest graded in the hoard. There were 3 AU58s and another was upgradable. The luster is strong with minimal marks. The reverse is exceptional and on its own would grade MS62+.
