Owner Comments:

Philippines - 1966 10 Centavos - KM-188 - Mintage: 110,000,000
Minted by Vereinigte Deutsche Metallwerke, A.G., Altena, West Germany

The imagery on the coins struck by the Vereinigte Deutsche Metallwerke, A.G. private mint are the ugliest renditions of the obverse image as I've ever seen. Despite that, the strike is excellent, and the obverse and reverse surfaces are nearly pristine. I was very pleased when the coin attained the grade of MS68, tying it with one other with none finer.

Date acquired: 12/24/2006 (raw coin)
Date graded: 7/13/2022 (self submitted to NGC)
