I purchased this coin uncertified at a local coin auction in December 2009 for substantially less than its current retail list price. I had it certified by NGC in April 2022 to fill registry set slots, as it is the best example I own of the 1873-74 Seated quarter with arrows "type", which is better described as a subtype. I took the photos prior to its certification.
