CAC. Acquired April 2022. The 1933-S is an interesting coin because of the era. It was at the worst of the depression and there wasn't much need for new coinage. San Francisco was the only mint to make halves that year and it was the first time since 1929. I think of the Congressional acts that affected the mints during those years, the lack of production in some years and the scarcity of multiple denominations in others (e.g. 31-S penny, 32-D & S quarters).
