Owner Comments:

In 2010, the mint changed the long-standing reverse of the cent from the Memorial design by Frank Gasparro to the Union Shield design by Lyndall Bass. The obverse designed by Victor David Brenner remained.

In 2017, the 225th anniversary of the mint, the San Francisco Mint produced a unique "Enhanced Mint Set" which included a cent with a special finish.

In 2018, the San Francisco Mint produced a "Silver Reverse Proof Set" which included a cent with a reverse proof finish.

In 2020, the West Point Mint produced the first cents with a W mintmark: a business strike, a proof and a reverse proof.
