Owner Comments:

I purchased this common date Barber dime as a type coin through an online auction in February 2022. It fills the Barber dime slot in my twentieth century circulating issues type set and, curiously, is also worth more points in other type sets than the 1893 in Proof 64 cameo that used to fill that slot. The 1893 can still be seen in my nineteenth century proof issues type set.
This coin is quite lustrous and clearly mint state, though so white it was possibly dipped. The scratch on Liberty's cheek can only be seen at a certain angle. Otherwise, the coin has few blemishes. Photos courtesy of Stacks Bowers Galleries.
