Owner Comments:

The 1899 year has a huge circulation mintage of around 22 million coins. However, most of them are dull and indifferently struck. Hence, I decided on this DPL example. Population 1 of 58 with only 15 graded higher by NGC as of 2/2007. It is a keeper. The picture does not do it justice - I will have to take some more pictures of this coin and replace these two in the future.
I acquired this coin on 8/14/2006.
