Owner Comments:

TOP POP reverse proof from the Coin and Chronicles Set for George W. Bush. Final mintage is unkown, but currently under 11,000 with 311 graded by NGC. 139 (43%) achieved RP 70 status. The higher quality of this issue indicates obtaining a POP TOP should not be difficult. The low sales numbers are due to the US Mint increasing the price of the Coin and Chronicle Sets to $120 which was double the cost of earlier sets. This may become the key coin for assembling a complete set. The earlier Chronicles issues should remain as the key coins for registry sets with Johnson as the key coin to achieve all 70s.
