Date/mm Information: Five full step coins are extremely rare!
Coin Description: This coin is blast white and looks like it was minted yesterday. The only noticeable distraction is what appears to be either a strikethrough or minor lamination on the coat collar. Otherwise, only very minor ticks exist on top pop surfaces. The strike is well above average for the date/mm that usually yields no step detail at all.
Comments: This date/mm has provided me with more frustration than any other in the entire series. Until 2020, this slot remained empty because I just couldn't find a coin that met my standards. In 2020, I finally broke down and purchased a generic MS66 with the intention of upgrading it. Less than a year later I was able to snag this beauty from a no reserve eBay auction for 25% of the current NGC price guide of $1K. Needless to say, this coin will be a permanent resident in this set.
