Coin Description: This blast white example is so clean and lustrous that the first assumption is that it must be an SMS. Fortunately, we know that the circulation strikes were struck with the typical Rev of 40, whereas the 1967 SMS coins were struck with a modified reverse that was used for all of the Jefferson Nickels from 1968-70. Since this coin has the Rev of 40, it has to be a circulation strike.

Comments: Like the 1966, this coin was also obtained via a no reserve eBay auction held by Simplycoins for which I paid $226. Also like the 1966, all of the 1967 circulation strikes were struck at the Denver Mint, so technically, they are 1967-D coins.
