Mintage: 6.6 Million
Full Step Availability: 1%
Date/mm Information: The production for the San Francisco nickels is split in half between the two reverses. As is seen with the other mints, the steps are not typically sharp.

Coin Description: Light champagne toning adorns clean lustrous surfaces of this beautiful full step 39-S. Two parallel marks on the reverse below the "N" in MONTICELLO most certainly precluded a higher grade.

Comments: This coin was purchased raw via a "no reserve" eBay auction from my favorite seller for $23 in February 2021. Imagine my surprise when I got this coin in the mail and realized that I had a full step 39-S for little more than a $20 bill.
