Lyman Allen #12.01 (KM #182) - Mintage: 2,665,000

Typical weak strike for a Manila Mint Commonwealth issue. The sea lion on the reverse is only an outline and the scroll is completely flat in the center on the reverse. The obverse is a bit better, but the vertical center-line of the coin is weak. There is some detail in the hair, but the facial detail below the eyes is missing, and the fingers and toes on the figure's left side are very weak. The peripheral lettering is reasonably strong strong.

Surprisingly, NGC has used this coin as their Coin Explorer plate coin.
