The "America the Beautiful" quarter series mirrored the Statehood/DC & Territories program from 2010-2021. Each of 56 designs pays tribute to a different National Park in each region. Five designs were released per year in the order of each park's commissioning until 2021 when the final coin was released. Each clad proof coin has a counterpart struck in silver.
In 2017, the 225th anniversary of the mint, the San Francisco Mint produced a unique "Enhanced Mint Set" which included five clad quarters with a special finish.
