Wonderful state of preservation! Cartwheel luster abounds and only a very minor, shallow surface tic behind liberty in the right obverse field. Color is sort of a greenish gold with the whole obverse being thickly frosted. On the lower portion of liberty around her neck and shoulder what initially appeared as hairlines are actually excessive die polishing lines when viewed under closer scrutiny (which the images failed to capture). The reverse is also nearly perfect with a single solitary tic in the upper field. A piece of debris resembling a hair is lying on the "E" of "STATES" on down into the field was captured in the holder. A Slight fine luster graze near the "2" amounted to frost disturbance and is of no consequence. The color, luster, and frost is consistant with the obverse as well. Very pretty coin.
