Owner Comments:
The Bicentennial issues of the quarter, half, and dollar all bear the date 1776-1976 and were minted from 1975-1976. The Ike Bicentennial dollar had two major variations: Type 1 with bold letters used on the reverse, and Type 2 with narrow letters.
This excellent MS67 top-pop example has bright luster and amazingly clean surfaces. NGC has graded only 36 bicentennial dollars (Type 1 & 2, P & D mints combined) in MS67 with none higher.
