Every 1865-S $20 in MS63 or better is probably from the SS Brother Jonathan or SS Republic Treasures. With the "Bro Jo" being more attractive due to more high-grade specimens available. Also, the Bro Jo recovered only 1052 coins total (Q. David Bowers: The Treasure Ship SS Brother Jonathan)vs. the 2789 recovered from the SS Republic. This coin is an amazing gem. Beautiful cartwheel luster and no noticeable marks at all. SS Brother Jonathan Treasure. Pop 119/21
