Owner Comments:
The silver Jefferson proof nickel is the first proof to have the P mintmark used to easily distinguish it from the 1942 nickel proof. As a one-year type coin, you may expect it to demand a higher price. With a mintage of 27,600 coins, there are about as many proof Liberty nickels in the 20th century, and about twice as many 1950 Franklin proof half-dollars. They remain affordable in grades up to PF67.
This example has amazing surfaces and nice color adding to its exceptional eye appeal.
