NGC US Coin Census for Saint-Gaudens $20 (1907-1933)

Owner Comments:

President "Teddy" Roosevelt aimed to make US coinage the most spectacular in the world. He succeeded! The low-relief Saint Gaudens survived the minting process better than the high-relief coins. The first type did not bear the motto "In God We Trust" due to Roosevelt's initial instance for the separation of church and state. However, public opinion swayed mint officials to add it to this coin and the new Indian gold eagles.

This high-end example has no problems and nice detail.
