Owner Comments:
A nice white specimen of this extremely tough San Francisco date. A remarkably strong strike for a date that is usually very poorly struck. Overall, the 24-S is one of the poorest issues in the entire series. One of four NGC 24-S Peace Dollars Grading MS 65+. Only two coins exist in a higher grade at MS66.

This date is incredibly rare and very tough in high grades. It also comes weakly struck, but this one is very sharp for the date. It’s fully white with no stains — a beautiful example.
