Owner Comments:

Circulation strike mintage 9,966,800

Cherrypicking and examining multiple examples proved to be worthwhile to find this example with sharp strike and GREAT feather definition. Most examples I saw had a flat strike, especially on the reverse on the Eagle's left leg.

On the obverse, there is a diverse mixture of brilliant mint luster with very distinctive luster bands, combined with subtle rim toning of a light chestnut and tan color. Almost full head design details and 70% of left hand details are present, with almost full skirt lines crossing the body. A small hit to the neck of Miss Liberty as well as barely visible light/scattered contact marks can be seen on the fields.

On the reverse, the breast feathers and left leg are quite complete and show excellent definition.
