Exquisitely detailed coin ! In my humble opinion (and reflected in the grade assigned by NGC), this coin is perfect, with (under high 7x magnification) very attractive sharp strike, the highest degree of original luster, no hairlines, hits, scuff marks or defects. Outstanding Eye Appeal !
NGC and PCGS certification data showed that very few MS-70 examples were graded which may reflect a high percentage of coins were hand picked for quality before being submitted for grading. In any case, I held out for one of these elusive MS-70 coins and was lucky enough to find one.
