BEAUTIFUL '55 - ONLY 16 GRADED HIGHER!

The U.S. Mint sold 378,200 Proof Sets in 1955. But only 1140 Washington Quarters from that year aren graded Proof 69. Most of the Quarters made in the early years of the Post-War Proof series are scratched, toned or damaged in some way. This is one of the finest examples of a Brilliant Proof Quarter from 1955 that exists. Only 16 specimens are graded higher than this coin.
