1994 Silver 5 Yuan Panda 1/2oz MS70
The 1994 5 Yuan silver Panda has a reported mintage of 158,888. This is a much larger quantity than the 1993 yet most numismatists consider it the rarer of the two and it usually sells for a higher price. In fact this date had a reputation as the key to the series till about 2010 when it came obvious, that the 5 Yuan Silver Panda from 1998 is the scarcest one according to market offers.
The coin also has a relatively high quality. About 10.7% are graded a perfect MS70 by NGC (12/2020).
