Republic gold “Large UN” Peso 1866-GW MS64 NGC, San Jose mint, KM 107.2. Variety with "UN" in center of reverse wreath. A near-gem example of a type normally found in much lower grades. Well-struck, with full device definition and aurous surfaces glistening with golden luster. A few large die cracks are noted on the reverse, adding a strong character to the piece. Single finest coin graded by NGC.
