RARE '53 BEAUTY - ONLY 12 GRADED HIGHER!

The U.S. Mint sold 128,800 Proof Sets in 1953. But only 72 Washington Quarters from that year are graded Proof 69. Finding high quality 1953 Proof Quarters is difficult. Most of the Quarters made in the early years of the Post-War Proof series are scratched, toned or damaged in some way. This is one of the finest examples of Brilliant Proof Quarters from 1953 that exists. Only 12 specimens have been graded higher.
