The Morgan dollar is arguably the most collected coin in American history. Although, the most coveted issues are from the 19th century. In the 20th century, the mint made more Morgan dollars than all gold coins combined (1900-1933).

This proof-like example has little toning and is a perfect representative of the type. It is the only coin in my 20th century type collection from the New Orleans Mint. It is also the last dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint.
