Owner Comments:
The second release of commemorative dollars in 2010 was issued to honor the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. The obverse features three saluting scouts (one being a female member of the Venturer Program, a co-ed organization when the BSA wasn't). The reverse features the logo of the Boy Scouts of America with an inscription "Be Prepared."
There were 105,020 uncirculated and 244,963 proof coins produced by the Philadelphia Mint. The MS70 and PF70 graded dollars are plentiful and easy to find at an affordable price.
