Excellent silver Canada matte proof dime commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint with interesting antique gray and gray-brown patina and pretty strong strike. Coin has a few very light contact marks and scratches commensurate with higher grade. Cost: $16.30 on 5/30/14 on eBay from E_Coins (e_coins).
Composition: 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper; Weight: 2.3199 g; Diameter: 18.03 mm; Mintage: 24,893.
Obverse: Crowned head (Elizabeth II) facing right
Reverse: Denomination and date within wreath, crown above (same as 1908 design except for dual date)
