Fantastic little coin. As of April 2017, NGC Top Pop of 5 coins graded (1@45, 2@55, 1@62, and 1@63). None higher by PCGS.

From the sale’s catalogue: “Ferdinand VII gold 1/2 Escudo 1816 Mo-JJ MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM112, Cal-363. The finest graded example to date at NGC boasting somewhat mark free surfaces. Coin also has light golden surfaces are very pleasing to the eye. From the Law Collection.”
