Radiant satin surfaces are untoned within partial halos of iridescent golden-apricot peripheral toning. This an overall sharply struck Capped Bust half dollar, one that is also uncommonly well preserved for both the issue and die pairing. Condition Census for the 1826 O-112a variety, per the Spring 2016 revision to Stephen J. Herrman's Auction & Mail Bid Prices Realized for Bust Half Dollars: 1794-1839.
