Owner Comments:
Third time is a charm for me with this issue. The first two 1945 P coins that I purchased had problems. This one has booming luster, original peripheral toning, smooth surfaces and a great strike for the issue. It is in a PCGS 30th Anniversary green labeled holder and CAC green stickered for premium quality eye appeal. This one is a keeper!
In general, the strike varies from bold to soft. Luster is usually very good and frosty in texture. Abrasions aren't usually a problem with some examples only lightly abraded. Most examples are brilliant but there are some vividly toned pieces out there and they command a premium.
