A die lump on the drapery fold below the clasp and recutting on the upright of the 5 in the denomination identify this available variety. The present coin is sharply struck and lustrous with uniform greenish-gold toning over mostly unabraded surfaces. Finer 1832 half dollars are scarce, regardless of variety.
