VAM-50 Extra Hair. Some are quite minor and are hardly noticeable. This coin has a significant die break and "blob" of extra hair.
The second and more interesting of the two coins shown is a 1923 Peace Dollar counterstruck at for the peace summit held by president Carter between Israel and Egypt. The respective heads of state are Carter (US), Begin (Israel) and Sadat (Egypt) each listed on the counterstrike. To bring these nations together in the late 1970's was a remarkable feat of statesmanship.
