The ATB series is designed to showcase the country’s most outstanding landmarks, scenic attractions, and historic regions. Each scene is presented on a pure silver coin. Due to their high quality and excellent design, these coins have grown increasingly popular with investors and collectors of fine silver bullion.
The brand new 2013 5 oz ATB Great Basin Silver Coin weighs 5 troy ounces and is stamped with its .999 fine silver. Each coin is inscribed with the phrase “E Pluribus Unum.” The reverse side of the coin shows an artistically wrought etching of a Great Basin landscape. A large bristle-cone pine dominates the foreground of the coin. These famous pine trees of the region are one of many species of pine that grow throughout this mountainous area of the West. The obverse side of the coin depicts George Washington just as he appeared on the 1938 quarter. Altogether, these designs make for one exceptionally fine coin.
