Owner Comments:

This late die state V10 variety exhibits fully original and lustrous golden toned surfaces on both obverse and reverse. Strong obverse die clashing is exhibited between stars 9 and 10. Addition die clashing on reverse combined with amazing die spalling on the reverse, caused by on-going degradation of the reverse die steel between the right wreath and AMERICA. A very late die state gem! Ex Birmingham collection via GFRC, ex ICG MS64 holder per G Fortin.
