Owner Comments:

The shortened flag atop the 5 with filling-in distinguishes the 1829/7 O-102 reverse die from the 1829/7 O-101. This beautiful Select Mint State example shows attractive rose-gray color but as yet no sign of the later die crack from the 9 to the clasp that diagnoses the O-102a. The obverse stars are drawn to the edge. Only tiny ticks appear on Liberty's chin and neck, consistent with the grade, but the satin luster and excellent eye appeal make this a standout coin.
