This is a scarce and somewhat underrated semi-key date. This example has a bold obverse but the reverse strike is soft likely from a worn out die. The surfaces are very clean and nice with nice mellow mint red and vibrant luster. I sent this off to CAC where it earned a green bean. Housed in a PCGS holder that is listed as generation 4.1 on the PCGS site; and listed in the Conder101 reference book as generation 12.
