Coin Description: Both sides of this coin are blanketed by intermingled vibrant lavender and peach toning and nothing short of astounding luster creating the most visually stunning modern Jefferson Nickel I have ever seen. The 5th step has little weakness below the 3rd pillar, but the rest of the step detail is razor sharp.

Comments: I bought this coin in a Heritage sale back in November 2014 for just over $100 and it resides in an old PCGS blue label slab with the series and coin #s on the label. The rarity of a modern Jefferson with this level of toning can't be overstated, and to that end, I have selected this coin to be the plate coin for this collection that includes the modern issues.
