Owner Comments:

One of my more interesting nickels. Both sides show evidence of machine doubling, which for the most part gave it a superior strike to other specimens from this date and mint. The steps are almost entirely full, and actually include two extra at the bottom. If they counted, this would be an expensive nickel....
